Republic Day celebration
The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm, patriotism and grandeur in our college this year. The program began at 9:00 AM on January 26, 2026 and continued till 12:00 PM. The program began with the hoisting of the flag by the college trustee on the college grounds and a salute to the national flag. The national anthem, national anthem and flag song were sung in a group by the college students. After the flag hoisting, various cultural programmes were held in the cultural hall of the college including: Choral singing of patriotic songs (like "Ai Mere Watan Ke Logo", "Vande Mataram") Gujarati folk dance (theme based presentation of Garba and Dandiya Raas) Patriotic drama/skit (based on the freedom struggle and the formation of the constitution) Solo singing and poetry recitation (patriotic poems like Ramdhari Singh Dinkar and Mahadevi Verma`s lines) All these programmes were presented very beautifully by the students and received great appreciation from the audience. Role of NCC and NSS: The NCC cadets of the college presented a grand parade and saluted the flag. NSS students took care of the management and arrangements of the programme. They decorated the campus with the colours of the tricolour. Finally: The programme concluded with the national anthem again. The Principal expressed his gratitude to all the students, teachers, and staff and conveyed a message of service to the country and unity to everyone.
